PREVENTING ILLNESSES
Preventing illnesses means making sure you stay healthy and don't get sick. Some ways that you can prevent illnesses are taking medicine, getting a shot called a vaccine, wash your hands with soap and water and going to the doctors.

Anyone who could get really sick needs to get a flushot, or vaccine. A vaccine is a shot that helps prevent some diseases. People such as doctors, or nurses can help the kids get better. They can give you vaccines and check your body like doing your blood pressure.

If you don't feel good at school you could tell your teacher and if you don't feel good at home you cold tell your mom or your dad. To make illneses go away you should take medicine and go to the doctor's office.

You can stop germs by taking medicine, by going to the doctors, and by keeping your body healthy and clean. To stop germs from spreading, you can do these things:
- Keep your hands clean
- Don't put your hands in your nose, mouth, and eyes
- Don't put any thing that doesn't go in your mouth
- When you sneeze and cough you have to wash your hands

A vaccine is a shot that prevents diseases and keeps your body healthy from getting sick.

If you don't wash your hands you can get real sick and have a bad fever, and a cough.

If you share a utensil, suck as a fork or a spoon, with a friend you can get really really sick and you don't know if they are sick and you might get what they have.

If you have the chickenpox, it is itchy and if you itch it, it will get worse. You can go to the doctor's
office and the doctor will give you medicine and you probaly won't itch any more. You will probably feel alot better.
If you have a bad flu, you can go to the doctors and you can also take medicine. Then you can feel alot better.
These are some ways to keep your body healthy and safe by preventing illness.
